One Rat Short [Complete]
Amazing film! is very cute. The graphics and animation was intense! www.oneratshort.com "One Rat Short" is a work of love created by Charlex Films. It began as part of the effort to grow the company's CG department but eventually became much more than that. Originally, it was entitled "labratz" and as the title might suggest it mimicked the look and sensibility of worked already pioneered by other studios. As it evolved it took on a life of its own- it became my film- or as any director of an effort like this knows our film. We decided not to use anthropomorphic animation. We decided it would take place in two worlds- one so gritty, grimy and dark that the viewer needs to peer into the screen in order to make out the images- the other a sterile, white world so brightly lit that you feel the need to turn your head away from the screen. It was also important to me to keep the film looking as real as possible. One of the techniques we used was to give a lot of the camera work a hand-held feel and to keep it a little behind the action so that the scenes didn't seem staged. Lastly and most importantly I kept the story simple and tried to give it heart. One of my favorite short films, which I saw as a child was "The Red Balloon". I think the melancholic and innocent spirit of that film inhabits "One Rat Short." Alex Weil, Director .

Love and War Part 6
Lesson Learned: Don't piss Levi off. lol About the Fight Scene: 1. Yeah, I put black screens in there because I was too lazy to animate it. But furthermore, I wanted you to use your imagination. I stuck sound effects in there for a reason. :) 2. LEVI does NOT have super powers! I kept in mind that this movie makes reference to a Maplestory world. The skills he and Jule used relate to the pirate class. 3. Yeah I could have done better with the fight scene, but I didn't want it to be TOO action-y because this movie's style is still after all a romantic comedy. :) I'm sorry for the long wait! I know it took A LOT of time to do this, and I HAVE TO WARN you guys that this is the first time i've ever animated a battle/fighting sequence. So, please keep that in mind, as I know I'm not as good as many out there. I also realized i've made some mistakes that I didn't catch until AFTER I rendered. -_- Bravo to my wonderful voice actors for ANOTHER job well done. :) You guys are amazing. Yay, it's finally done? Completely and totally rushed, therefore it doesn't make much sense. :D But on the bright side, I can just work on Freezing and Scarlet Chains now. --- Edit: (Read after you finish watching the vid) If you really can't imagine what happened after Trina's story was intterupted, mainly she pulls out No.2 and No. 4, Grendel seals them to prevent them from running away, and then the gods come to get No. 2 and No. 4. Then yay, everything's fine and back to normal. :D Trina decided to leave her world behind and stay with Axir. Edit 2: So a lot of people are complaining about how it seems very rushed and should be longer. Well, to be honest after I ran out of ideas, I was planning on just dropping this series instead of pausing it. But then more people would probably complain, so here you go. I can't blame you if you don't really like it cause I don't either. Edit 3: Remember that Axir, the one with blue hair is the one with Trina, while Arix is Axir's twin brother but he has purple hair. Yeah I know, it gets kinda confusing since the spelling is quite similar. Edit 4: FOR THE LAST TIME, IN THE BEGINNING OF THE FIRST PART, IT IS IN THE FUTURE. THE FUTUREE. PART 2, 3, AND THE BEGINNING OF PART 4 IS ALL IN THE PAST. THAT IS THE STORY TRINA IS TELLING HER CHILDREN. SO THAT'S WHY IN THE END YOU SEE TRINA WITH HER CHILDREN AGAIN, AND HER HUSBAND, WHICH IS AXIR. My apologies for using caps. Edit 5: Dang, a lot of edits. There will NOT be a third season to this ...
